Wasn’t Carano’s contract done and they just chose not to renew her? Does that equate to termination legally? Maybe one of our Chorus lawyers could chime in

 

Pretty sure they straight up terminated her, since she was probably signed on for the show she was supposed to be the lead of.

But she doesn’t have a case anyway. Her contract would have a morality clause, they asked her to stop, she kept running her mouth, she paid the consequences. This is all dumb as fuck and just shows how much of an idiot Musk is.

They hate mainstream culture for being insufficiently hard-right but they also want to be mainstream culture. They think that since elections are pretty evenly split they can make their own alternative world and get half the audience, but in reality the vast majority of people don't care about this stuff and just want to enjoy their Taylor Swift and Star Wars and sports in peace.

I fell behind, but Alyson Stoner has a great podcast discussing “toddler to train wreck” and what happens to young people in Hollywood. It’s backed up with a lot of personal anecdotes and scientific research. It’s a must listen for anyone interested in learning more

 

Anyone interested in learning more about this story should read Jennette McCurdy's memoir. She goes into how toxic Schneider was pretty deeply, although she only refers to him in the book as "The Creator". She claims he forced her drink alcohol while underrage, gave her inappropriate massages, ect, and that Nickelodeon offered her a $300k NDA to never talk about experience but she turned it down.

 

I’ve known about the Schneider accusations for a long while but another thing I heard is that when casting for a show, he would require young actresses to have their bare feet photographed as part of the auditioning process

 

I remember that one of the things she also talked about was them taking pictures of her in different bikinis and stuff for "The Creator" and her feeling pretty grossed out about it too.

 

I was a little too old to watch those shows when they aired but I listened to a podcast about this and apparently there were numerous episodes from different series where feet were prominently displayed.
