From things I read a while back it sounds like he's really difficult to work with, he's got this ego/attitude about him and as @wisdomfordebris stated he's said some pretty gross things.

I mean, most of this is hearsay, but there's been rumors of why he's not in more stuff outside of F&F.

I will say there's an amazing comment on a reaction video to this video.

 

Besides that interview, which is really bizarre and creepy, I don't think it was widely known he was terrible. For the most part, I think he kept to himself, outside of his nonsensical IG posts/videos.

 

Yeah, I don't think it's widely known, but there's always been scuttlebutt about him on set being an asshole, overly criticizing other actors and blaming them for movies not doing well, not showing up prepared, etc.

I hadn't heard anything about sexual harassment or anything, just not surprising now that it's happened.

 

Yeah I can’t tell if it draws those kinds of people or if the power and fame breed terrible abusive behavior, but it is so prominent among people with fame and power that there has to be something behind the correlation.

You can tell a lot about a person based on their career choice. Politicians are among the worst, but the kind of personality that still seeks fame even after everything we know about the downsides is suspect. It is one thing to be a character actor, but actual movie stardom attracts a lot of the worst traits.

 

Also depends on the support system and people around you when things start to take off and then who you associate with after

 

Idk if having fame and fortune makes you inherently a bad person. Unless you're like the CEO of a multi billion dollar corporation exploiting everyone at the bottom. If a movie star were to ever have the power to singlehandedly, idk, end homelessness or something, don't you think that would've happened already? Buying a mansion is one thing, solving a systemic issue is another

But yeah too many famous people are now turning out to be assholes, thats a whole separate issue

 

At least Disney won't have such a hard time replacing him like they are doing with Majors.

 

Not sure if I can see Universal pulling the plug on the last two F&F films.

Larsen and Johnson probably won’t be too excited with having to star alongside him

Those numbers are for 2022. The allegations didn’t hit the news until a few months ago. Who knows what effect the allegations will have, if any, but it’s not surprising he made money in 2022.
