that said, marvel studios never should’ve dragged their feet like this to begin with and should’ve booted majors the second anyone caught wind of his abuse. a fucking shame it took this long

I think it will be easier for Marvel to recast and not change the whole direction of their next phase. Should be easy with all that multiverse stuff they have going on, at least story wise.
There's probably a clause that says he can't be terminated unless the charges are found guilty or something and they just can't go off pure speculation because what if the opposite were true? What if it was all fabricated by his victims and he was found innocent and they were found to be abusive and he was in self defense or whatever. There's a ton of legal ways it could go down and they probably tried covering all their bases.
