Alt comedian in LA, Adult Swim guy, recently had a pretty prominent role in Stranger Things.

This isn't a gossip thread but for what it's worth, based on both tweets AND a friend who did some assistant work for him in LA, he's a huge asshole to work with.

I understand that is impossible for me to know how Jews or Muslims are feeling right now as I am neither, but to be clear, it is in no way Jewish celebs that are irking me - it's those pivoting to the right to go to bat for a state actively committing genocide.

 

All I can say as a Jewish person is that Islamophobia doesn't represent my values and it makes me sick to my stomach seeing people imply that, but not everyone feels that way obviously

 

I think it was an old Michael Brooks clip where he was asked how does he reconcile his Jewish upbringing with his support for Palestine. He said "in my Jewish upbringing I was brought up to sympathize with the people in the ghettos, not the people running the ghettos" that quote has really stuck with me the past few weeks.
