I know I shouldn’t be, but I’m pretty stunned at the audacity of rolling Ezra Miller out like nothing happened and that red carpet media is just rolling with it. Watching it happen parallel to everything with Jonathan Majors is such a clear indictment of the industry and the lack of sincerity around accountability. Also a very clear look at just how much of a shield being white is
I mean Majors isn’t the first billed on a 200+ million dollar movie that was already completed when his allegations came out. I don’t buy that Ezra will be returning as flash within at least the next decade.
well, right, but until he's removed from the marvel movies nothing has actually happened that will affect him
Conor sucks but that story seems pretty far fetched. The Heat/NBA security threw her into a bathroom where Conor and his security was so he could rape her?
Yea because Johnny Depp supposedly has public support yet no one is hiring him. Kevin’s mainstream career in the US is toast.
There is now video obtained by TMZ of the two interacting while at the game, him taking her into the bathroom right before it allegedly happened.
This is sorta niche I guess and more a vent than accountability but I love doing the peloton walking treadmill workouts and all Matty Maggiacomo's especially. I just did the one from last weeks "walk and talk" where he talks about pop culture events. He talked about Johnny Depp and amber heard and kinda did the "they both messed up" take which was annoying but I guess I'm used to it. But then he said Johnny donated his settlement to charities and it shows that johnny is a good guy, and then mentioned he doesn't know about if amber is good. It just sucked. I like the peloton workouts because they're positive and encouraging and that made me feel so stressed and anxious the rest of the workout. Like dang all this time later I still have to encounter a triggering subject in the wild when I just want to take care of myself. I don't expect fitness coaches and fitness models to be experts but then like... don't even bring it up.
I know it’s usually a red flag to say “keep politics out of xyz” but I cannot imagine wanting to hear someone discuss a domestic violence case during a fucking peloton workout
Lol right like never in my life have I wondered what any of those instructors think about serious events and/or politics. During the walk and talks he usually talks about the Oscars or his love of Cher or whatever so it caught me off guard. He also mentioned (paraphrasing) how he didn't want to talk about it during the trial when it was all over the news which came off to me like a cop out. Like I'll say something now that there's less heat on the subject. Tbh I'm kinda surprised they're even allowed to talk about things like that. I know they dip their toes in some things like for pride month and Juneteeth but they usually say like the most generic and unoffensive things possible.
I know quality of work has nothing to do with accountability but I didn't know who she was until I looked her up on YouTube and I genuinely don't understand how people like this shit
