I don’t want to argue semantics because none of this is good. Also, the thread of that is confusing and a mess. There’s one tweet that mentions a 16 year old, but then says that he loves women in their late teens then says he goes for women in their early 20s. Either way, he’s a celebrity in his 30s using his fame to get women. It ranges from bad to terrible/illegal. He seems like a pretty terrible guy and I hope he gets properly exposed.
Did you see the original tik tock accusation? Seems pretty clear on the 16 year olds/ high school girls.
I didn’t. Some tweets got deleted on there? Is it still out there? And by the way, I don’t want this to come across as “Show me proof” type stuff. He sounds like, at the very least, a weirdo predator.
I know I should never be surprised and I'm asking more rhetorically because I know why, but also it still astounds me how people can do awful things and still pursue a public career like it'll never come out. I'm terrified if like my alumni newsletter published something about me that someone would come out with the time I didn't see them and didn't hold the door open for them. Let alone if I was out there legit harming people. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night, if not due to remorse, then of fear of getting caught one day. Fwiw I'm not cool enough to be highlighted in my alumni newsletter lol
Might wanna replace this with a different link if you have one. Bounding Into Comics is run by hateful people tied to “#ComicsGate.” If you scroll through their feed, you’ll get a feel for who they and their fan base are.
Bam running in and out of the woods assaulting residents of the town like some sort of drunken coked out Sasquatch
Ville Valo had a recent interview where he stated he hasn’t spoken to Bam in nearly 6 years (tried to contact him through Novak but it didn’t work) and the “monster” Bam has slowly become. It was another level hearing it from someone who Bam himself idolized. Very sad and unfortunate, but it is what is now. Steve-O recently had him on his show and was trying to dig through the BS that Bam was giving. It was like digging against a steel door.
I was completely unaware of this until yesterday but the Met Gala theme this year is paying Homage to Karl Lagerfeld, the former creative director of Chanel. I was reading some posts from people up in arms about this and then found this out: I wonder if any celebrities are going to boycott attending it or ignore the theme this year? These are pretty extreme views for someone to have and the Met to be celebrating…
I'd be shocked if they did. He's a pretty celebrated name and I feel like this is all well known in the fashion world but they'll either ignore the theme completely like many already do, or say how amazing and influential he was and romanticize his legacy. But it would be cool if a big name spoke out
Anyone following the potential writers strike? Seems to me like what they are asking is extremely reasonable and hopefully they get what they want in a fair and quick manner.
