I had to show a vaccine card when I went to Japan 2 months ago. My card didn’t show my booster and I had to log into an old CVS account (thanks Apple for saving my passwords) and find the information. Almost didn’t board with no refund offered. Sweated bullets.
Film sets have always requested vaccination proof and tests before arriving to set. But yeah, I wear a half-mask respirator whenever I'm around a bunch of people or indoors. My spouse is immunocompromised, so I don't want to risk it.
I went to my GI last week. I was SHOCKED they weren’t requiring masks anymore. I at least want them in medical buildings/places.
I went to urgent care recently and they didn’t require masks and I felt like there was no way I could trust their advice after that
I’m in a small town in Michigan and the only places that require masks are hospitals and doctors offices here
Been seeing the same psychiatrist since 2021, and their office just lifted the mask requirement this week and I was so upset by the lower half of his face
https://www.reddit.com/r/MSsEcReTPo..._app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=4 Bert Kreischer being racist on a terrible, racist podcast just in time for his big comedy movie to hit theaters
He was on Legion of Skanks talking about a friend in an interracial marriage and basically said he couldn't imagine being around a black person for that long
Okay but I'm remembering Lucy Liu is in it and I'm now questioning my own morals, like is it okay to put aside your feelings for one person's shittiness because another person who you actually like is in their project, are they getting not very much money anyway if I see it with A-List I don't care for Ezra, either, but I see clips of Supergirl in The Flash and it looks so cool. Letitia Wright said dumb shit and I still went to see Wakanda Forever. There's a difference between Zachary Levi level shitty and JKR level shitty
Personally I think movies are a little different when it comes to accountability because so many people have worked on the film. In all reality you seeing or not seeing Shazam is going to have no impact on Levi or the film's success, so if you have the interest, I say go for it. It's just easy for me to skip this one because I don't really care for superhero movies anyways
I don’t know if there’s a better spot to post this but I just came across this article which I thought was interesting. As someone who has watched YouTubers for years and is generally aware of family vloggers, it’s honestly crazy how families are able to not only exploit their children but also essentially make them their “employees” and force them to make content against their will. Like, you’d think there would be better laws about this already in place. I used to watch Shaytards from time to time and I always wondered how much say the children got in what was filmed, how often they were filming, and if they could stop filming the videos if the kids ever expressed discomfort.
I feel so bad for those kids. I hate the viral kids stuff most of the time. When a toddler is throwing a tantrum and the parent sticks their phone in their kids face to record it, when their kid does something that may be funny and amusing as a little kid but they may be embarrassed about as they get older... so many of the kids are too young to consent to all that being posted. I'll watch a cute video of a baby laughing hysterically or something but if it's a tiktok account dedicated to a kid generating regular viral content I skip by so fast now
