Kind of unrelated but I don't really like people who make Family Guy/The Simpsons/South Park/Rick and Morty their entire personality, they tend to be shitty. Or I guess what I'm trying to say is, it's no surprise, then, that the creator would be shitty as well.

(I'm not talking about anyone who likes those shows, I understand they're sometimes good and have a lot of cultural impact. Just the people who yell "Pickle Rick!" in public are the worst)

 

I feel like The Simpsons are slightly not like the others, but despite my avatar, I'm not a Simpsons simp either (only for seasons 3 through 10)

 

Worth noting Justin Roiland is allegedly a creep as well, but I don't know if that has as much to do with adult cartoons as is does with powerful men in Hollywood

 

I definitely would separate The Simpsons. The Simpsons at its heart is a positive family show.

Jon Stewart should have just enjoyed his retirement instead of desperately flailing for relevance that left him once Obama was out of office.

 

When Jon Stewart is on he's great, but I feel like when he does sucky things he deflects to just being a comedian and having no personal responsibility even tho he posits himself like a newscaster and idk it just always irks me

 

He's extremely charasmatic and easy to want to like, but unfortunately, he's another example of someone who never should have been put on a pedestal

 

i like those shows besides south park. and i love american dad. not sure why its even relevant to bring up fans when the story is about the creator.
