I saw him recently in a guest spot on Westworld, he's been on Mayans MC and is going to be on Ironheart on Disney+. Are they just constantly testing him?

Reading some more, there were also reports that he wouldn't take a paycut to do a shortened season. Though his costars agreed to it. But still.

I'm not sure I understand why this information was sealed and not used in the trial? Or if it was, how the hell did they rule in his favor?

Most of it was things like pre-trial motions and lawyers on both teams arguing for and against including or excluding certain stuff. Some docs were kept sealed because it contained private info (medical etc.). However, a lot of the evidence mentioned, e.g. the texts from his assistant admitting JD kicked AH on the plane were included in the UK trial, and have been available for a long time. His lawyers managed to get a lot of stuff from the UK excluded this time.
