Years ago I had an internet friend who told me he had a chance encounter with Leto at the movie theaters and they both saw Old School. They had a brief casual conversation, he got his picture taken with him, and said Leto mentioned his favorite movie is Revenge of the Nerds, which in retrospect is telling since that movie is pretty rapey.
