wild. he’s the best interviewer around. you can tell he gets a bit “nervous” for really big stars, but i don’t think that’s going to be an issue on a show like jeopardy lol
He’s a good interviewer and can sometimes be witty off the cuff but I also find him a little over rehearsed/stiff
Aside from the obvious problems I always feel bad for the kids in this scenario. Imagine having to see screenshots of your dad being a creep like that? Like upsetting the woman isn't enough you gotta traumatize ur kids? Bravo. Idk him much but doesn't he have a fairly "innocent" image that largely centers around his family? Ugh
I dont really know if that's an accountability issue... I mean it's stupid, sure, and belief in one conspiracy theory tends to lead to other more dangerous ideas. But what are we looking for here?
I would argue distrust in the government itself is completely valid (even if I disagree with the theory itself) and only leads to major issues when it begins to directly affect others (see any number of COVID conspiracy theories). I believe this came up when Anthony Green tweeted some truther stuff, too.
Bro Jim Gaffigan got me fucked up. Just can’t put any celeb on a pedestal anymore. First Lakeith, and now Jim. Ugh
Yeah he has a reputation as a "clean" comic, in that he doesn't do material about like, idk sex and stuff? I never really got that label for him because it's not like he doesn't curse or anything like that. 99% of his material is about food. Oh and also his wife is his writing partner and co-writes all his material. So there's that. This is massively, massively disappointing.
No, I think a lot of the truther stuff is dumb but what I'm saying is I don't really think it's excessively harmful to anyone else and I don't really care if Anthony Green buys into it or not
It is 100% true that we should never put someone on a pedestal. It is also 100% true that we've all done (and sometimes still do) it lol. To look up to someone and want them to be a good person is a very human thing to do.
"I thought he kept coming to talk to me at work tonight because he was a nice, friendly guy. I thought he DMed me because he was bored on the road."
Uhhhh people who are DM'd by celebrities usually aren't expecting said celebrities to be creepy and sexual towards them, maybe don't make posts like this...ever. I'm not here to start anything but this isn't the first time you've made posts that question survivors or people on the other end of creepy situations and it might be a good idea to think before you respond to such situations.
