I know Frank Sinatra has been dead for 23 years but I'm still not convinced he wouldn't kill me for insinuating something like that lol
Tattoo guy made a big post talking about how he missed the guy he killed in a drunk driving accident.
I’m not usually one to give any shits about statements or apologies, but IMO that’s a good one. I hope the noise created at Gimlet today will lead to better outcomes for the unionization, and hope PJ makes good on efforts to help them while he’s away from the show.
I do wish he acknowledged the claim of toxic culture that Eric mentioned, since his apology seemed to focus on the union efforts, but not the larger issue that he enjoyed/perpetuated the “clique-ish” nature of RA vs. the rest of Gimlet.
It's always sucked to be a female pop star, but damn if the late '90s and 2000s weren't a terrible time for them. These unearthed interviews and jokes are embarrassing.
Wow this clip of Dane Cook shaming Vanessa Hudgens after she had nude photos leaked is awful https://www.instagram.com/reel/CLcZiAnnWpo/?igshid=5v8xqma50fp1
I don’t know a ton about Dane Cook but from what I do know I feel like this isn’t atypical of him? I could be wrong though. It’s still super gross. (Edit to add: I deleted and reposted my post so that’s why our replies are out of order)
I remember one time on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" that Dane Cook and Lindsay Lohan was on, Dane said the only thing guys want for Christmas is oral sex and someone in the audience said "I want some from Lindsay" and Dane kind of egged it on. It was so embarrassing.
Tbh Dane Cook is one of those guys i just assumed belonged in here to the point where he wouldn't even get brought up
It just sucks that comedy in the 2000s was often times aimed at shaming women (see the Lindsey Lohan video above) rather than helping them out or talking about/making fun of literally anything else. It's great these men are being called out for it though, even if it is a decade or more too late.
