The sexism towards Amber Heard on Facebook right now is getting too much for me.

 

I’m seeing more and more people (including people I’m friends with!) saying that she’s abusive, it’s all her fault, and he did nothing wrong. It’s ridiculous.

 

She's abusive but so is Depp (possibly moreso if that matters). People are only focusing on one or the other without making it known that both parties are bad.

Yeah. They're pretty much all focusing on the one they like better. It's not surprising, but it's really shitty.

 

WB showed guts to remove Depp, so hopefully they continue down the line. Remove Heard from Aquaman 2 and Ezra from Flash (although this one is very unlikely).

So this is fucked up. Maybe old news but I’d never heard this before, it seems De Niro and Scorsese are culpable for abuse here.

 

This is so fucked up. This is the first I am hearing of this and I am surprised this guy still has his job.

 

The way models of all levels are treated by photographers of all levels - particularly white male ones - is the industry's worst kept secret. I'm glad models are starting to talk, and I hope more feel empowered to do so. If it's scary at Emily's level, imagine how bad it is when your name carries no weight (which is true for the majority of working models).

 

I am in no way surprised that this guy still has his job.

 

The fact that so many Hollywood entertainers are so afraid to speak critically of an abuser, and will do whatever they can to defend him, is so frustrating.
