I mean...I do feel like that is a very common practice to help actors cry in a scene, but I'm pretty sure in said situations the actor knows about it beforehand and is in agreement with it.

So much about youtube is toxic on every single level. I often watch videos there to fall asleep since they aren’t in depth stories, but lately I’ve been feeling like I need to do everything I can to not spend my time anywhere on that app.

Framing her decision to leave as being “bullied off the platform” is endlessly frustrating, even more so when it’s coming from someone who is one of the most harmful creators on the entire site.
Yeah that's gross, it downplays her agency in the matter, while there are people who should be bullied off yet continue to make content
A voice actor gracefully stepping down when under the spotlight seems like a real convenient move after they’ve been cashing checks on their characters for years, in some cases decades. Especially considering they will likely still be profiting from them. Creating that space for POC is a wonderful first step but I’d love to see some of that energy used in a way that doesn’t feel so... performative. Somebody stop me if I’m galaxy braining this
