I just checked and wow, he comes across as an asshole via his likes. Their studios used to be in the same building as my office and they seemed like good guys, but damn. Also, Preston doesn't wash his hands in the men's room.

When a celebrity does something stupid, they almost always have that sort of lineage.

I would bet money that many of them were told that they would be fired if they refused to do the 2015 Trump episode

I don't like Jimmy Fallon, but I really like what I've seen of how he's responded. Seems like he's done a good job of not making excuses or passing the buck, celebrating accountability & doing his homework. And, I also appreciate that he was honest both about what he was advised to do & his own fear of that whole "cancel" thing, & then was like, no, this is accountability, & it is good.

Despite people's opinions on his comedy I've always thought Fallon seemed like a genuinely really good dude, and I honestly still do. He handled this really well

They both suck, but the other Paul actually used his podcast (or whatever the fuck he's doing) to spread a pretty powerful message about white privilege and injustice. I was honestly shocked at how not bad it was. He's got a legion of easily influenced tweens, and he used his powers for good. Still a dork.

Hmmmm hasn’t heard that. That’s my main issue with them is the very impressionable youth that they command, but if they’re saying some positive stuff like that then great.

He (and others he was with) found a dead man in a forest known for people to commit suicide in Japan and filmed the man while also laughing at the same time.
