I've realized that to the general population it's a very 'in' thing to believe in conspiracies and talk about them.
It's really frustrating. I knew in high school I loved biology/science/medicine. I always felt good that my interests aligned with a field that could help people. Like, sure the studying is a lot, difficult subjects, etc, but I knew in the end it would help people. It's hard to watch myself and colleagues scramble up in our labs to see what kits, reagents, chemistry we have to throw together testing kits, keep our vulnerable patients safe, etc. They suffer so much, and you can't stay inside for a bit.

lol, it was wishful thinking my landlord would waive April rent. Instead we got a notice saying if we paid early, we’d get a 10% credit towards May’s rent.
