He said a lot in the supporters forum, did a whole track by track. He seems to like it a good amount, I think Diagram was his least favourite.

I'm really excited to hear the whole thing. I don't get enough of this kind of pop rock these days.

 

They keep fucking with his vocal and the songs. Too many effects. Strip this song down and wow. I really love it but it had a shot at being great

 

Diagram was pretty easy to hear for me but yeah this one is hard. The snare starts off sounding like it's on the upbeat but really it's on the downbeat.

 

Here's hoping!

 

Holy shit these two new songs are such a big step up for this band. I may not have been able to catch onto their older stuff (like some of you guys), but this new stuff is so more musically dense and really captured my ears.

 

The release date changed? I thought it was the 17. I just saw 24th on Instagram. I'm confused.

Just got my promo copy of this, currently listening... really really enjoying this. I think the biggest thing that surprised me is that even though it rarely sounds directly like their old stuff, and in fact is even more different than I think the singles suggest... it somehow always feels like the same band. They really did a great job of making the album they wanted to make, while still staying true to who they are.

 

Will post my review in the next week or two... really looking forward to getting some extended thoughts down on this.

This is exactly what I wanted to hear.

 

I am extremely jealous, and that's exactly what's i wanted to hear too. The old stuff never caught my ear, so confirming that the direction they went in is congruent to the singles is a huge plus in my book.

 

I heard a snippet of a song on their photographer's snapchat and it sounded nothing like the singles and it has rekindled my excitement for the record.
