I feel very good about this album. I can't wait.

 

Oh man I forgot about this! Sounds like I'd expect pretty much. Which is a good thing.

 

Jason was describing a bunch of songs from this as "atmospheric" the other day and it got me ridiculously excited. Want this album so bad!

I was hoping they wouldn't stray too far from Phantoms and it seems like they aren't for this album.

 

Seeing them on Saturday. Wonder how much new material they'll play

How does it feel coming back to a music scene he and the band left for 10+ years, and do still be loved by so many?

 

Do they need a tambourine girl?

 

Are they planning on re-releasing Phantoms on vinyl? Or do they have no control over that?

 

Album should be coming out by the end of the year. Lots of music over the next 18 months.

 

@Jason Tate Did you get the feeling they might have a full tour on deck?

 

More like ~30 shows per year tops.

 

So kinda like festival/weekend gigs...

Yea the interview @Jason Tate did was great, it would be awesome if they released this album before the Texas shows...
