im the opposite. I like CbD the album better than Phantoms, but Take Cover is their best song. i absolutely love the new sound they went with for the last album. I imagine the next will be similar

 

Def a much better shot at a progression or continuation of CBD than going back to phantoms.

 

Took a break from 1975 to listen to Colliding By Design and it can’t be overstated how much I love that album.

It's a massively underrated album that deserved more attention.

I'm ready for more Acceptance.

New EP “Wild” via Tooth and Nail on July 24, new song coming June 19!

 

So last I heard, the ep comes out in July, and then the full length will be out in September/October, and it’ll include all the songs from the ep. not sure if that’s still the timeframe, but I’m so god damn excited

 

That would be awesome. Wonder how many songs we’re talking for this EP.

 

what I was told that starting in June, we’d get a new song every couple weeks leading up to the full album release. Again, things may have changed, but it’s finally time for everyone to get pumped

i just saw the post and was disappointed its just an EP. but now im seeing there will be a full album.... fuck a duck im pumped! surely theyll do a vinyl pressing of the full album...

 

Completely baseless speculation time: I could see them delaying the album to when they could support it with a small little string of shows. Obviously being that they have careers and families outside of music, they have to be really selective on how they put stuff out. However, in that Part of the Hive podcast from the end of May, Christian still mentioned that the album would be out in October.

Whether we get a full length in the fall, or a full length later on down the road, I’m just happy that we’re getting some new music next month!

 

I'm excited to hear the new stuff but if the songs are going to be on the album I won't listen more than once so I'm hoping they won't delay the album.
