Hahaha. That’s hilarious but I still wanna hear it. Would be a shame if someone in the band were to accidentally post it somewhere.....
It would be a shame... so much so that none of us would sleep well at night knowing damn well the gravity of what we’d done. ❤️
It's riding high for me. It's currently a 3 way tie between Spanish Love Songs, Caspian and Acceptance right now and I think Acceptance may win purely on the fact I've had it for less time and it still feels so new and exciting. That and the fact it is an absolute dream of an album.
I just got a copy of the /750 pinwheel third press of Phantoms from BTR if any of you don't have it yet, I think maybe there's 20 left? If that? Acceptance - Phantoms
...aaaaaand they lost my order. I'm getting my money back but that's not the point. Annoyed that this happened with this record specifically, ugh.
Jealous that I’m on the wrong coast. also, I don’t know if anyone caught Jason as a guest on Aaron Sprinkles podcast, but he mentioned that they were working on new music, and hinted that there’d be news towards the end of the year. He also mentioned that Aaron would be playing with them on stage at When We Were Young fest Exciting times
I’ve been saying this since the vinyl was released… but imo Don’t Look Back should not only be on the album itself and not a B-side, it should’ve also been a single. Great song. Wild to me that it’s only seeing streaming release now, 2 years later.
Listening to the deluxe edition as a whole, I’m kinda convinced Don’t Look Back was originally part of a different recording session or something from the rest of the album. Has such a different energy to it. Really wish this song got a proper push rather than being a random bonus track.
Hadn’t heard Lonely before, so this was a fun surprise. I wonder if there’ll be any updates on future plans during WWWY fest
Havent heard Lonely before. didnt know this song existed or that it was coming. ive seen that the guys are back in the studio last week, so im assuming we will get a new album at some point in the not-too-distant future.
"Don't Look Back" is great, glad to finally have it officially on streaming. Sounds like a Fall Out Boy song.
On Apple Music "Don't Look Back" is credited only to Aaron Sprinkle, which makes sense why it sounds so different from the rest of the tracks. Bobby Darling also has a writing credit on "Explanations and Excuses" (along with the band and Aaron) which is dope.
