I did go for the 7-inch, but has anyone heard that the b-sides will eventually be out digitally too? (I'm so, so stoked.)
I asked the same question on their Instagram, but I don’t think I’ll get an answer. I’m sure they’ll get added somewhere eventually
incredibly random question, but does anybody know what Son of the City is about lyrically? it's actually my favorite of the singles so far, but i'm confused as to what the story is here (someone else on Genius is apparently asking the same thing, lol).
I *love* this. Have you seen credits yet? It's driving me crazy because I feel like I know the guest vocals from somewhere - so awesome!!
Yeah it’s really beautiful. HAVINH SAID THAT - not sure I’m in a place where I want to hear an entire record of mid-to-slow ballads.
Wildfires may be my favorite work of theirs since Phantoms-era stuff, but as @Jusscali said, I wouldn't mind a few songs with a little more urgency.
the super reverb vocal effect on Jason's voice is gone in this song. thank god. he sounds fucking phenomenal who is this girl? i love her voice maybe my fave song theyve released so far from this album.
There is definitely some urgency in every one of these songs. Loving this sound for them. It's interesting that "Wasted Nights" isn't available as one of the pre-release tracks on the album on Apple Music. I wonder if that's just an accident/oversight or if they reworked it for the album.
I know no one watches music videos anymore, but the lyrical content and co-vocals of Wildfires are perfect for the medium.
As a massive Acceptance fan, and someone with a toddler and a mortgage, that first impression truly spoke to me. I’ve held off listening to the new song, and I’m going to wait until the full album. Great write-up
