Umm just realizing the Californication thing now

 

I was going to be incredulous but then I remembered I didn't get the Take Off Your Pants and Jacket pun until I was almost 30.

 

I was like 11 when that album came out and their lyrics are non sense!

 

Seriously only realized this like last year.

 

I called it take off your jacket and pants when it came out and my friend laughed at me and explained it.

 

For an embarrassingly long time I thought Californication was a portmanteau of California and vacation
