I was playing Wii Bowling way before Nintendo went woke and started including soft, squishy Wiimote covers for all you soft, squishy snowflakes.

 

In the mid 2000’s, I bought a new plasma TV panel every single time I threw my uncovered Wiimote directly into the TV screen. I use the shattered, blackened and flickering liquified visages of my previous triumphs (all strikes, naturally, center-cut between the apex and the Samsung logo) to line my basement bowling alley, where I practice my analog craft for a digital stage.

We are not the same.

 

I slept in my car at Best Buy for a Wii.

Bowling a perfect game in Wii Sports is one of the biggest accomplishments in my life. Absolutely my most impressive physical feat.

 

I'll never forget playing tennis on Wii sports with my mother and she "threw" the ball up into the air to serve.
