    there used to be a bar in my town that was around long enough that it sort of built a reputation for being somewhere you went, had a drink, were able to talk to someone, maybe play a board game, it was a nice fun quieter place. it ruled.

    then they sold the place and it became a maga country bar where long island's worst people meet.
