As someone who as listened to Emotion and its B-Sides nonstop this summer, this tweet is too real.

So glad I was too terrified to read these just by the cover/ basic premise

 

I read these books as a kid. I'm definitely going to have to go back and do that again, cause holy crap, this is intense.

 

Lol, Animorphs sounds lit AF

 

Animorphs was awesome. I never fished the series because I was a child and didn't read that much, but I remember the rat thing. Some asshole kid found out about their powers and somehow they were forced to give him some. Then he got stuck as a rat and they abandoned him on the island.

 

I read a few of those books and can confirm that's pretty much exactly what they were like.

 

i loved animorphs and have no recollection of any of this. i'm calling Mandela Effect.
