for anyone who routinely sees misunderstandings on Bumble / Hinge prompts

 

It feels like if I had a dollar for every time I saw a woman respond to the "A fun fact I'm obsessed with:" prompt with an enthusiastic "Dogs!," I'd have something close to an extra stimulus check.

 

“I’ll fall for you if” “you trip me” is another one I’m super sick of seeing

 

Try them out in Denver. Everything is about hiking, “margs” and guessing which of the three is false. The two truth’s are always “I spontaneously packed up and drove to CO” and whatever degree they have.

Yeah, including something about hiking is very common here in the Hudson Valley, but I don't mind that because it's usually a relevant interest included in a way that makes sense haha

re: Lion King game tweet - the old curmudgeon in me says “well yeah that’s what you deserve for not even paying attention while playing duh” and then I remember the blind sociopathic rage that filled my heart and mind and bled out of my eyes playing that exact game as a kid. And Aladdin. And a weird Jurassic Park game on PC that was all sorts of fucked to the point I only remember my hatred for the games more than anything in the games and then I go “ahhh yes, I am with you. I understand 100%”
