    The series takes place only a couple years after Episode 6 I think (definitely post-Empire, at least, since their old flunkies are the villains), which is when Yoda dies, and in the first ep they make explicit that baby Yoda is actually around 50 years old

    Oh okay, I had no idea when in the timeline the show took place lol. I'm glad though, it would have probably been very dumb to write Yoda as a baby into Star Wars canon
