    It implies how attention-hungry or prone to oversharing some people are, which might be a key factor in the joke depending on the subject.

    I agree that in some cases it doesn't make sense, like that cat one further up the page, but it's not like it's completely nonsensical.

    Even in the cases where it makes sense it doesn't add anything though. Like the JK Rowling jokes have been around forever and it's always been understood as unprompted lol
