As a father rocking his 5 month old to sleep as I type this, I fully back that woman cussing out her kid.

Mine's almost 2 and the first 3 months were pure hell. He didn't sleep and cried constantly. He's still an asshole but for much different reasons

 

She has good nights and bad nights, sometimes decides she doesn't want to settle, and has taken to waking up 4.30am everyday without fail. But its better than the first couple of months when she wouldn't let us put her down without screaming the house down.

I never read Harry Potter, we read a page in class in fifth grade and I was like no thanks

Never read a Harry Potter book or seen a Harry Potter movie (I'm 28). I wear this cultural blind spot like a badge of honor at this point.
