Idk, I don't think it's that weird of a choice when movies like The Social Network and Jobs (which this seems to be an adaptation of from the same writer). I hardly think it'll glorify Musk at all, tho I am suspicious of Aronofsky post-The Whale
For me, it's less that it's a weird choice and more that I just don't have interest spending two-plus hours with that character when I hear about him every day of my life - ESPECIALLY being helmed by Aronofsky lol
Dude also made The Wrestler which is a masterpiece and not that dissimilar of an arc that I imagine his Musk movie would take. Plus we'll get to see Musk be irate if it's anything other than a glowing portrait.
I wasn’t crazy about “Let’s All Go to the World’s Fair” however Schoenbrun is undeniably an interesting new voice so I’ll check this out
World Fair took two watches for me but once I knew what to expect, I really came around on it. Def understand it being devisive though. Not much happens and it's very slow.
