saw marcel the shell tonight, and it's the most endearing thing. a girl behind me kept whispering "that's so cute" to her friends every few minutes for a while, and it was a bit hard to actually blame her. speaks to how good of a voice actress jenny slate is that i wouldn't have guessed that's her if i didn't know beforehand, as marcel sounds nothing like tammy larsen or dawn bellwether or the one dog from those secret life of pets movies

 

I just watched Martha Marcy May Marlene this weekend and am ecstatic about this

Anybody not familiar with the tragic saga of the Von Erich family and you have a Hulu account go watch Dark Side of the Ring season 1 episode 4 "The Last of the Von Erichs". Such a sad story.

Watched 90% of “It Came At Night” - trash of a film. When he shot the kid near the end, that’s when I stopped watching.

 

I was so hyped for that movie, didn't get to see it until it came out on Blu-ray, watched it, and it was very meh.

 

it was just marketed entirely the wrong way imo

 

Trey Edward Shults is kinda a genius and Waves and Krisha are so goddamn incredible

 

Agreed. I watched It Comes at Night again after those and liked it way more the second time.
