damn, the closest AMC is like a 50 minute drive. and i certainly don't wanna pay $5 + S&H a bar. when i'm visiting my family for the holidays, i might see if their local AMC has any

random question, but for anyone with any of A24's collector's edition Blu-rays or UHDs (the super long ones) have you encountered any cracking along the inner ring of the disc because of the tightness of the spindle? i saw someone discussing this on Reddit and went to check mine only to find that my collector's edition of Everything Everywhere All at Once developed a crack in the disc stretching from the inner ring to halfway between the inner and outer ring, rendering it unplayable. i had only taken it out of the case once or twice just to check that it was free of scratches and plays, so i'm assuming the pressure of the plastic spindle broke it over time. luckily A24 offered to send a replacement (despite purchasing it over a year ago), but i wondered if anyone else has dealt with this. surprisingly my copies of Midsommar and The Green Knight are unaffected (the former likely due to the spindle being made of foam or a softer plastic). now i'm contemplating putting them in different cases entirely.

In terms of actual awards campaigning, a24 should focus their energies on Sing Sing and The Brutalist big time

While I still have not seen Sing Sing yet.. fingers crossed for a release expansion in the UK.. but I am rooting for Colman Domingo because I met him a few years ago and legitimately great human being to chat and hang out with as well, genuinely humble down to earth guy after meeting him I'll root for him to succeed, nice to see good people winning

i'm a little upset though because the closest eligible theater is about 45 minutes away (an AMC in Altoona, PA, y'know, where they arrested the United assassin), so whenever i don't want one to go to waste, i'll probably give them to my sister who's also an A24 fan.
