yes, it's just their name for the same thing basically. like where I'm from you got Slurpees (7-11), Slush Puppies, Icees, Freeze (Speedway's version), Hyper Freeze (Cumberland Farms version) etc. Some versions better than others lol.

I was in Tennessee the only time I've ever seen a 7-11.

 

The most impressive thing about this is snowing in 48 degree weather

 

We would always mix the Coke and cherry slurpee(s?). The consistency was perfect.
Then they came out with those sour gummy straws. Best $2 you could ever spend!
