I think most of us suffer from some variation of mental stuff, be it anxiety, depression, or both because they rarely don't bring the other... but I like you all more than most of my irl friends and you seem like fucking great people, so you have that going for you, I'm kind of a big deal

Depression and anxiety are like Beavis and Butthead, or any other teen movie bro combo. Separate from each other, you can stand them for the most part, but when they're together they're the worst. Douche 2 is waiting behind you just waiting to time a fart sound exactly to the moment douche 1 slaps you in the nuts.

 

I don't know if I like them or not, I just want the luxury of having them and getting to decide whether I like them or not hahaha

 

on the subject of anxiety: thank fuck my weed guy came through. the past couple of days have been shit and im really going to enjoy sleeping through the night tonight

if i don't get a day off without work calling me soon i might actually lose it

The last show I played 3 drunk people came onstage mid-set and eulogized someone in the middle of my show and then the opening band tried to rile people up to give them an encore

That's why legal states are cool. You can tell them you get terrible anxiety and they'll give you a strain that destroys all anxiety instead of creating it.

 

The singer for the opening band messaged me on Facebook the next day apologizing, and I just told him it's all good and water under the bridge because it's basically guaranteed that venue won't let them play there ever again anyway hahaha

 

I was pretty pissed one time because some drunk people that came to see us started chanting they wanted us to come back on DURING the next band's set. There are ways to say nice things and not tear down someone else in the process.

Exactly, like at some point the performer has gotta be allowed to be a performer. Other artists can be uplifted without taking away the voice of an artist.
