    It's wild how much minimum wage fluctuates, I also realize that cost of living is insanely high in New York

    I have a $100,000 college degree and have never made more than $18,000 in a year...and that was working two jobs, 60 hours a week. I've never even come close to "living" on my own. I live in my mom's basement. Job market here is beyond brutal and sucky. I've had one interview in the last 13 months.

    Mom's mortgage makes our Florida friends vehemently angry, haha. Can say that about east Tennessee, we're probably one of the cheapest places in the country to live.
