I am also feeling positive. Good morning. I hear there will be a fire drill at work today, which means a good hour of paid time out on the plaza, and it's a beautiful day. I work in a 50 story agency building so that's a lot of people to get in and out and I'm happy to wait in the sun by the fountain and wait til everyone else goes back in.

I got a new job, it's at a liquor store, but a kind of boujee one so it shouldn't be that bad. Minimum wage, but at least that's 9.25.

Honestly I just (probably) need to stop drinking caffeine - like every morning I have an energy drink and go to the bathroom at least three times, like it's just not healthy and I'm pretty sure its not even like exasperating the situation, its like causing the situation. We'll see.

Yeah I don't feel great about it, but it went as well as it could have and I think it was the right decision

 

I had a lypoma (fatty lumpy tissue... think of a lump dogs get) removed from my rib cage. The incision was only about 1-1.5" but I tell you... leaning back or forwards or even sitting in a chair or twisting my body or walking or anything really and I can barely take the pain.

 

was that related to the coughing up blood issue? yeah man those incisions suuuuuck. when i had my hip replaced they did it early in the morning and they wanted me to get up and walk around that evening. I don't remember saying this, but my mom told me my answer to that request was something like "more dilauded, less walking around you shitheads"

 

That's good. I still feel terrible but know I did the right thing. We'll both be fine in like 2 weeks.

No, that issue turned out to be a complete fluke lol. I had a scope done for it and everything. The doctor thinks I had some type of bacteria or material in my stomach that was sort of lodged inside of me and I vomited so hard to get it out that I tore my esophagus resulting in lots of fresh blood. I've had 0 problems since.

They didn't even give me prescription painkillers. Dilaudid is pretty much the greatest thing ever haha.

 

I'm kind of scared of painkillers to be honest, haha.

 

I remember dilaudid as this giant wave of relief and warmth flooding over my body and through my veins. So warm and relaxing and good feeling. Haha. No wonder they keep it so tightly guarded.
