Listened to the album again and I'm curious:
Why'd you decide to go with 67,000?
Did you think about making any references to A1 or Pineapple on Pizza?
Lastly, why the all lowercase stylization of Emerson? I dig it just curious.

I honestly just like the way the lowercase looks, haha. And emerson is a popular name so I wanted to stylize it with those colours and make it lowercase just to differentiate us a little.

Ohhh yeah there's absolutely significance haha. 67,000mph is the speed that the earth revolves around the sun

 

Solstice is really good but I heard the ep version before so I have familiarity bias. Besides that, Hummingbird, Money Tree, & Old Friends. And Waves sounds super radio friendly

Yeah waves we wrote in like 12 hours in the studio, mostly to see what we could do with the production tools we had. Old friends is about my ex who got with my best friend after we were together for 5 years. The ashes and bridges part is a direct call out because that was her name

Money tree I wrote in 2010 but that came out pretty cool. Anyway, I'm glad you like it! I'm a little buzzed so, sorry for ranting

 

That's awesome. My dad loves that one. I was nervous cause it doesn't have a true chorus and is the intro track haha. I was happy with the lyrics for that one though.
