So out of the 7 kittens, my gf and me plan on each picking one out and (hopefully) giving the rest away to nice homes. I picked mine out recently, and I chose the one with the biggest head, I mean this mf looks like Jimmy Neutron lol. So I'm gonna call him Big Head or Biggie for short. I'm excited because I've been trying to be fairly detached until now.

Angry Beavers

 

mid 90s-early/mid 2000s cartoons are responsible for a huge part of my personality. I tease all the time I was raised by 90s WWF, Cartoon Network & Nickelodeon and in hindsight I really was lol. Especially stuff like Rocko, Ren & Stimpy, Ahh Real Monsters, Cow & Chicken, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Ed Edd n Eddy, Invader Zim, etc made up my weird side, meanwhile shit like Doug, Hey Arnold, etc made up for like my demeanor in ways since I related to Doug & Arnold lol. Angry Beavers was a good middle ground of both cus both brothers fit my personality in a way lol.

Even how I like to draw and create is such a copy of that era of animation. Really impacted me.

 

imo: everything started to go downhill with CatDog, The Wild Thornberrys, Rocket Power, and The Angry Beavers (even though I kind of like that one.) they just weren't as good as Ren & Stimpy, Hey Arnold, Rocko's Modern Life, Doug, Ahhh! Real Monsters, Rugrats, etc. that was the golden age of Nickelodeon for me tho

I actually kind of agree with this. I liked all of the ones you mentioned but I do remember resenting how much CatDog took over Nickelodeon back when it was on when I just wanted to watch my shows I grew up on, and I wasn't even 10 by then lmao. I like CatDog now in hindsight, I look at it now like early SpongeBob really was the end of that era, but I remember feeling this wa as well back then.

Edit* I think I resented CatDog back then cus it was my brothers favorite and by then Rocko was off tv so my favorite was taken away.

 

I remember having my mind blown as a kid when they announced Rugrats All Grown Up

 

i would say i was upset for missing out on all the pube and trump spray tan coagulation on his asshole talk but i was hanging out with otters

 

I remember being blown away too, then hearing they were like 12 and I was like ".....All Grown Up, huh?" lmao

My mom was just glad I would rather watch TV over going out and doing hoodrat shit so I was watching Beavis and Butthead in elementary school lol

 

I am very bothered anytime someone say "your wife" referring to my daughters mom. I know it's an understandable assumption but I hate it. And I don't know if I should correct them because it doesn't really matter in circumstance but I HATE IT

Remember that being a SUPER problematic cartoon. My friend got sick watching it once and his mom never let him again and his mom was my mom's best friend so she always grilled me about it.
So naturally whenever I seen the kid I was like "WTF MAN, you gotta hold it together for both of us, you can't have me out here losing cartoons. Cartoons > homies, remember that." lmao obviously not in that verbiage since I was like 5-6 lmao but I do remember being annoyed with him for me getting heat cus of him lol.
