For the first time ever I'm really happy with my job. Granted it's only been 7 weeks so ask me again in 6 months.

 

Yah i'm very happy with where i'm at and it's a place with plenty of room to move up. Very blessed with where i'm at. I really have no business having a good job with benefits. But I do.

 

I am trying to imagine liking a job that isn't stay at home dog mom.

Can I get a life do-over? I want that.

 

As a kid I wanted to be a Sea World trainer, glad that didn't happen

 

I wanted to be a dolphin trainer so bad as a child.

 

i smell subject matter for the next book

 

Current idea I've got for the next one involves magicians killing hitler. But maybe dolphins will feature! They are the second most intelligent animal on the planet! (We're third, obvi.)

 

I would read the shit out of a book about magicians killing Hitler

Yeah. HBO greenlit a series doing it, too, but canceled after the pilot was shown behind closed doors.

I really don't like Kav & Clay, but I've definitely read it. We need more options for Jewish superheroes

Thanks! I started the day after Labor Day, so I'm on my 3rd week. Granted it's a honeymoon period but I'm already pretty integrated into the group here and it works extremely well.

I haven't tried that, but I picked up a book called "Now Write!" that has a bunch of exercises in it. Hoping that will help.

I've tried going in with just an idea and a general "this happens, then this, then oh, okay this" and I get so sidetracked so quick. Like, within the first day. It's strange. And I give up so quickly... I need to stick with it and just go with what happens. I'm honestly contemplating a short story every day or every week, maybe. Instead of going full novel. Idk. I'm torn since every other attempt has been a disaster.
