Good news is, I only access work stuff on my work computer so my boss doesn't actually know what I'm doing with my time. I was just in trouble for being super obviously distracted.

Boss and I are friends and can be straight with each other. I've known him since the day I was hired, so we have history, which helps. It'll suck to not have him as my boss when I eventually move to something else, but I 100% appreciate the fact that I don't have to lie to him.

 

I straight up told my boss that I have no intention of staying here. He asked what my promotion plans are, and I said "Hopefully I'll be working somewhere else when I finish school."

 

I want to be Miles Morales for Halloween. I want a really good costume.

 

I think we're entering a time where most bosses don't expect their employees to stay around very long because most companies don't really care for their employees anymore, but the managers as humans still will.

 

Yeah... I mean, my biggest issue with my job is that my "department" tends to get the best of the best and there's basically nowhere to go from here. Development is a big problem, but it's apparently being worked on. *shrug*.

All I know is that I'm working on getting a way out because I don't want to leave the company, but I'm so checked out of what I'm doing currently.
