Tooth & Nail and Drive-Thru probably had the luckiest streaks in music signing history in the 2000-2006 range, but then it fell apart very quickly for both.

Probably, I really can't think of who else is left. Beyond that though, it's so weird to look back on it. Like you'd have these bands with these androgynous looking members preaching to people onstage about Jesus and then they'd play bone crunching deathcore or something. Plus, you have controversies I don't think we'll ever see again, like when Fat Make crashed a Warped prayer circle (which in itself is a relic of the times) and people got mad at him for it.

 

So what is the plot of the new Jumanji again?

I'm more amazed they were able to milk ten seasons out of a character with Asperger's being the focal point of the show without people getting sick of it. Still not as bad as those crime shows though, they have to of repeated crimes at this point.

Speaking of CBS, is Kevin James trying to revive the sitcom concept of the fat guy who has a hot wife and is also weirdly conservative and spend the whole show being combative of society not being like it used to be? I had to sit through those terrible promos on Sunday watching the Chiefs game and I was rather dismayed that shows like that still exist in 2016.

Oh I'm not saying what he did wasn't disrespectful or anything, it totally was. However, that would barely be a blip on the radar nowadays nor would people get as up in arms about it as they did then. Like people got really mad that he made fun of Underoath onstage and blamed him for them leaving the tour, I couldn't see that happening now.

 

I don't think it ever died, I think that's what Last Man Standing is about too

But yeah it's regressive when TV is getting more progressive if not quite there yet
