Does Florida not get cold in the winter?

 

I didn't see snow until I was 18 and moved to Tennessee, but it snowed the day I was born in Tampa. So Florida sometimes has winter. Rarely.

First post of this thread makes it really hard to post in here

 

First five years I lived here, once a winter. Last four winters have been 3-4 good snowfalls. Last couple years have had some gnarly ice storms, too.

 

I love this song so much. Completely changed my opinion of the band.

That’s a good bit more than we get here a bit farther south.

 

I think they get a lot more up in the mountains/the tri-cities. I'm just south of Knoxville on 75 and it often seems like we're the last place snow falls before it switches to rain.

North Florida apparently gets snow a little bit? Soflo though will have like one week in december where it hits the 40s at night. But even that is unlikely. I absolutely love the winter time down here.

damn....I just read the likes thread...hadn't been in there today. I was gonna suggest that we archive it last night tho, just felt like time. we had our fun, gained some friends, some likes. better to go out how we did than risk pissing people off any more. I got my girlfriend a crackling autumn candle yesterday from yankee. The wick looks like a popsicle stick and when you light it, it will crackle like a fire place. Pretty neat!
