One of the baristas at the Starbucks I like to write at gained a solid forty pounds in the last month. It's really throwing me off. I hope nothing bad happened.

Why are reactions to new South Park episodes always so hyperbolic? I read people touting it as the best episode of all time last night. Did we watch the same thing?

 

Best episode of South Park is a dangerous topic of conversation. That being said, my vote always goes to the Thanksgiving Helen Keller Play episode. Gobbles!

 

Other contenders: the one about the history of Mormonism; World of Warcraft; Black Friday/Game of Thrones; and I'm really partial to the pilot, Cartman Gets An Anal Probe. Probably because "I do not have a sixty foot satellite sticking out of my ass!" is still one of the dumbest things that has made me laugh so hard I cried over.

She's 13. I rescued her at 6. On Tuesday, she could no longer put weight on her back left leg. She won't eat her normal food. Mentally she is still really sharp, but she can't get around. I feel sick to my stomach over it. I'm not giving up on her though. I baked her some chicken just now, which she ate, which means she took her medicine. I am hopeful I can turn this around, but I can't give her all the care she needs if she stays like this. It's fucked up because when I have struggled in the past, she's always been there for me.

 

Probably between these two and the whale/dolphin episode.

Sorry to hear ken..and yes..it's acceptable to call out for this reason. I've done it, that's for sure.

 

I've never been a big fan of South Park. I thought it was cool when it first came out probably just because I wasn't allowed to watch it. It gets pretty mean spirited as far as pop culture satire and a lot of the time it seems like it's written by reddit.

That said, it's funny sometimes but I never watch it anymore

 

I've had to go home one time because I saw a dead fox in the street. Animals are more important than people to me. By a lot.
