I need to listen to the new M.I.A. started to in the car with my daughter but I only heard like three songs

I like La Dispute but rarely listen to them anymore

Oh dude. You gotta hear Pneuma. Its incredible. The opening track gets me every time.

I'm not one of those people who get mad if bands don't play old songs, especially if I've seen them a few times, but I have uncanny luck with not seeing Gentleman by mwY. I just want it one time.

one of the best bands I have ever seen live. probably seen them 5 times now. definitely make sure you do before they break up

 

you & me both, my friend. I shouted it out once, and Aaron said something about how they don't play those kind of songs anymore. this was also before they started playing it again

 

It really depends for me. The two times I've seen mwY I wasn't expecting anything from the first album since they said they would only play them if they headlined. I've seen them do Nice and Blue and Bullet to Binary. So happy for both.

Bands like Thrice, I've seen play the same sets six or seven times now with new songs peppered in. Their most recent set was impressive because there was a ton of new and some very unexpected oldies. Seeing The Sky is Falling and In Years to Come made me so fucking happy.

Yes! The early summer tour setlist was very refreshing, but kept some of my old stalwart favorites. Backdraft, Wood & Wire, and the return of For Miles was so great. Kinda hoping to see Music Box and Whistleblower on this tour. And in the perfect world, maybe See You In The Shallows. Anything else is bonus.

 

See You in the Shallows is far and away my fave Thrice song.

I think they played Music Box when I saw them tour Vheissu, but that was the only time.

It's such a great jam, start to finish.

Yeah, I didn't get to see them live until after TAI 1&2 came out, so I missed out on a lot of classics.

 

There's a good amount of bands I just won't see live anymore cause I hate their new material.

I saw NJ do Memphis one time and Cory did all of Josh's parts, but then Josh came out and did Aaron's verse. That was sick.

 

Prob when they toured with Chariot right? Pissed I never made it to one of those tours.
