I never really mentioned it in here, but my mother is also currently unemployed and the end of March is kind of when we run out of savings (including all our retirement funds) to pay our bills. So everything is even more heightened right now.

I beat the boss hand in melee with a time of 00:04:20.69 the other day I shit you not. Was a second away from getting a picture.

i remember the first time i beat final fantasy 9 in that final fight all my ppl but steiner were dead and he was confused and attacking himself but the boss was down to so little and it was like 15 minutes (felt like 3 years) of me hoping to god steiner don't kill himself and finally just hit the boss one more time lol.
he finally did, i celebrated like it was the crowning achievement of my youth to that point lmao.

 

I had something similar happen in FFXIV.

My raid group and I were doing a trial fight against Sephirot on Extreme difficulty, and the boss nearly died but everyone but me (a DPS), a tank, and another DPS died. The boss killed off the tank, the other DPS, and then I got off just one shot that did like 200 damage and barely won the fight for us with a sliver of my health left. It was glorious.

 

Being on this site is out of my current routine and it's messing me up, yo.
