Yup

 

First Seymour battle is really easy once you figure it out, but yeah it's tough to figure out on first play through

Side note you're almost where I'm at in my playthrough now

 

Yeah i looked up some ways to beat him. I dont have the time to figure it out on my
own anymore haha.

 

Once you get the pattern down and know to rob the guards it's super easy but man just wait till later boss fights hahaha it gets infuriating at parts

I remember quitting for a while when I got to Seymour On Mt. Gagazet on my first play-through. That battle is brutal.

 

Dude it is so brutal in any rpg when you know pretty damn well you are leveled up like you should be then you enter a boss battle and get demolished in like 25 seconds. Feels like your life has no purpose hahahaha

 

That one and Yunalesca were infuriating on first playthrough

 

That reminds me, at the beginning, did you choose classic sphere grid or master sphere grid?
