In Tennessee any ticket that's been mailed from a camera is illegal and can't go against your record. Maybe see if Texas has that law, too?

Not in Tennessee. Private companies issue photo tickets and give 50% of the ticket to the government here. They can harass you, but they're breaking just as many if not more laws than you did by running the light. At least that's how it works here.

It's required to say all this on the ticket here. They got good at hiding it. So may need to look through the fine print.

 

I asked for a list of people who hate themselves as much as I do. People came up with underwhelming responses. My mother, rather than say, "cheer the fuck up" says, "come on guy, you can do better than that."

Ask I see that might suggest that is a line saying that the photo is not evidence of a violation and a "representative of the police department red light enforcement program" determined a violation occurred based on review. There is an option to request a hearing. Wonder if it's better to request a hearing or just ignore the damn thing
