I just wanted to add that in because I know Groot and I have talked about the people who swoop into the sports thread which is a thing he mentioned and I can see how that's common ground

 

I think it’s all set. I feel better about it, and am just doing my best to get it somewhat memorized so I’m not reading from the paper

Anyway I'm convinced no one at my work has worked yet today

 

Because it's exclusively straight and male in there it often comes across as women being objectified even if that isn't the intent of the posters. But I'm also not gonna go in there just to complain either. As a woman I deal with much worse on a daily basis and it's too exhausting, so I just avoid it

 

there's some gross shit that gets said in there and I don't condone any of that but the people swooping in to tell others their behavior is not alright is always a bit much to me and not at all the way to go about it imo

this is not the first time this exact scenario has happened in there either
