Wait, if we're talking one day, why would anyone choose dog over cat? For a life, I'd choose dog, but for a day? Cat easily.

• Is typically more predatorial (a cat is going to have a much easier time hunting a mouse than a dog)

 

You can eat a mouse as a human too, it's not just a cat thing.

 

And even for life there are reasons. Cats are much less prone to health issues and their bodies age infinitely better over time. How many 15 year old dogs have you met that don't have joint and hip issues? Zero myself where as I put my cat Angie in the ground at the ripe age of 22.

When I was a young tike, I used to throw coins into wishing wells and wish to become a cheetah. Never happened.

No I was an adult male at the time with opposable thumbs. So I guess not THAT young. It'd be tough to throw coins with paws though, now that you mention it. I wonder how they do it.
