I've decided I don't want enough money to be rich, I just want enough to not feel too guilty to call out of work when I'm sick

I think I'd feel guilty regardless of wealth, I just want enough money to be able to afford a sudden unexpected expense like say a laptop dying

 

Yeah I had to replace all my tires a month or two ago unexpectedly that was fun

 

my dad’s level of wealth would be ideal. but i’m never going to be in a position to make 1/3 of it honestly.

 

I am happy with having what I grew up with around the time my Dad was doing alright and getting a lot of side jobs. Probably 60-80k a year, I know he said he made 100k in a year once but only once. I won't pretend to know exactly but I'm a fairly simple man, grew up in a rural area so it was never about being flashy, just comfortable. Whatever your comfort is.

 

i just want enough money to buy video games, tickets, feed myself and my cats, and throw $100 in the bank each check. idec if i ever own a house. i obviously am setting my goals higher than this, but it's a comfortable floor.

Basically just give me enough to provide for myself & my fam, keep my weed stash stocked, have dogs, and basically money for whatever pleasures.... which is really usually music related or the once in a blue moon trip lol. Games and stuff like that is a mutual interest me and my girl, so ill let her have most of that since I can really only focus on a game or 2 a year at best lol.
